This model offers the greatest number of combination possiblities for measurements, colors and settings – the whole range of options in the Start series is available here. The selection of add-on drives is just as much an option as special adaptations in custom fabrication.
• In addition to these possibilities, the StartM5 Comfort comes with adaptive components. The rear wheel adapter allows different settings for an active and passive center of gravity, depending on the needs of the patient. The wheel camber can be set to 0° or 2.5°. In addition to the side panels with armrests, a clothing protector is also offered as an option and 1 3/8“ or 1“ tires can be used for the rear wheels.
• In short, the StartM5 Comfort is an excellently equipped lightweight wheelchair that is suited for active as well as more passive users.
